 Learning how to pray earnestly
Learning to pray earnestly is one determinng factor of your success in life.
The earnest continued prayer of a righteous man makes gigantic power available [dynamic in its working] (James 5:16 AMP)

The scripture above talks about the kind of prayer that produces results; it is earnest, heartfelt and continued. It's the kind of prayer that involves your emotions and all of your being-you put yourself into the praying. It's not a casual exercise but a serious-minded endeavor, intense, with a singleness of purpose, such that you aren't distracted by anything that's unrelated to your goal.

Learning to pray earnestly means that during this kind of prayer you have to turn off all distractions so that you can pray effectively.

Elijah had to pray this way to stop the rain from falling on the country for 3 and a half years. (James 5:17). 1 Kings 18 throws more light on how he prayed earnestly: "And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees" (1 Kings 18:42). He shut out all distractions and concentrated on his prayer; little wonder he had such great results.

So if ever you are encountered with a difficult situation, learn to pray earnestly.Be in a silent place so that you can focus on God.. Pray earnestly and passionately, refusing to let your mind wander around.

Put your whole being into your faith-based prayers, for the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man produces results; it makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working. The results your want are based on your ability in learning to pray earnestly.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for teaching me your Word today on how to pray earnestly and passionately about the changes I seek to effect in my life and in circumstances around me. I apply your Word today, as I kneel in prayer, declaring words of faith and power, with intent and singleness of purpose, and I have amazing results that are evident so that everyone can see as I learn to pray earnestly, in the mighty name of Jesus. Halleluyah.
