I personally love the alien and predator franchizes but when combined i felt it has watered them both down a bit. Sure I enjoyed both AvP and AvPR but they both lacked greatly in was expected to be an Alien/Predator film. Rumors of a third movie have been spreading and fans agree that a new measure must be taken to bring back the Alien and Predator that we knew.
I think that it should be filmed in space and should involve somewhat of an equal battle between Alien, Preds, and Marines. Aliens was the only movie were the humans actually killed a vast number of aliens and i think that should be brought back. i also think they should use an ealier version of the M-40 pulse rifle(as seen in Aliens). Their should be more than 3 Preds and it would be cool to see some new weaponry. Also we should be able to see more of the predator homeworld and learn a little more of thier culture. The aliens should keep thier ridged head look and they need to be a little more badass.
The new movie also needs to loose the idea of using as little special effects as possible and go crazy with it. Movies with good special effects seem to do pretty well. Look at Transformers and Iron Man.
Finally I think it would be freakin awsome if they had an Alien Queen fight a fully developed Predalien Queen. Tell me that wouldnt be badass.
