Imagine that all the multivarious faiths of  the world are pieces of a gigantic jigsaw which surrounds Earth. Now just like the massive plates of rock that form the earths crust each of these pieces are pushing against each other to get above their neighbouring strata. Such movement has disasterous consequences for those caught in the resulting upheaval. Until all these bits of jigsaw settle into  harmony we can expect no change in the constant conflict in the world. We cannot change the minds of those whose only concern is to hold power, in the guise of religious fervour, but we can seek to find a more accomodating attitude to our fellow man. if enough people thought that way who knows what could be achieved. After all there was once a war to end all wars, but it didnt. The only winners in war are far from the front line stirring up the cannon fodder . Give peace a chance as the man once said.
