 depression
I'm trying to put my life into perspective. Well it's not much of a life, just an emotional rollercoaster that goes no where, just circles. After so many times around the circle you can't help but become numb to the emotions. No excitement when something good happens and no disappointment when something bad happens. It just keeps going in a circle.
But because we're still human, depression sets in. "Depression is merely anger without the enthusiasm."

You feel so out of control of your life that you know from experience not to even try to control it. You let life take its course, even if its down the drain.

"Depression is merely anger without the enthusiasm."

The truest statement I ever read.
Sometimes I enjoy depression - people leave me the fuck alone!

Oh and welcome to the white trash club. I too am trash without the trailer - but I do have the abandon vehicles in the yard, and more dogs than humans live in my house!
