I think im gonna start doing this thing with my blogs where ill write down my main thought of the day. Just one, the one that stands out the most, and I'll give either a long or short explenation of it. It wont exactly be an every day thing, but i'll do it.
MY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: I hate holidays. They suck. I dont even like my birthday. Whenever I think about holidays, the phrase "much adoo (not sure bout the spelling) about nothing" comes to mind. It's like all month long there is so much excitement about this particular holiday, and when the day comes, all the excitement is gone. Nothing happens. It's just...there. So many times I've experienced this small disapointment and I realize that it is better not to anticipate for anything, not to plan for anything, and not to expect anything to be the way you thought. I'm not being pessimistic, just realistic. It is better to take it one step at a time and enjoy every step you take towards that something. Maybe that way, the excitement wont be gone by the time it comes, and better surprises will come along. I'm not anticipating halloween because if I do, I wont end up doing anything exciting. I wont plan, or wait. I'll just pretend like it will be a regular weekend and see what happens.
