| Sweet October |
I love the month of October. I can't believe that a whole year has to pass by in order for me to remember why it is that I like it so much. There's just so much excitment in the air-the new season sure makes people feel and act different than in summer. Maybe it's because fall has this beauty that is hard to describe, or maybe it could be the weather-it is neither too hot or too cold. There is no need for a heater or for a fan. You could sit late at night, early in the afternoon, or in the morning, and the weather is still perfect. Fall food is definetly more enjoyable, and I love the smell of apples, cinammon and pumpkin that fills my house. There are also many events to make this month more exciting. Many cultural events, many concerts, new experiences, new hope...well at least for me. I also seem to be happier during this time of year. Maybe it is because this is the only season I truly connect with and feel comfortable with, or maybe because many special things that have happened to me have occured in this particular month. All of my special memories are connected to this month. Many important people in my life have something to do with this month, wether they were born in this month or I met them in this month. Either way, October holds a special place in my heart. I know this sounds silly, but during this month, all the bad stuff in my life doesnt seem to get to me as much as other times of the year. It's as if I was asleep the rest of the year and just woke up for this month. I feel alive, happy, hopeful, beautiful. And this year, there is no exception for this. This October of this year, I saw some of my favorite bands live, I've had more experiences than I've had lately, I've met a new guy I'm interested in-first time in a while and soon there will be more events to come and more things to experience...I can hardly wait
