Well, they hung him for a bit for fun and to entertain the people. Then they quarterd him, still alive of cause, that consists of cutting out your organs while you scream. The more screaming the better as the crowd loved a good scream. Then just before you pass out and die(a good artist could keep you alive for a very long time! btw) then they cut off your head. Very theatrical and good old family fun for all ages. They probly sold pies and sweets for the kids at an event like this, it was a good day out for all. Don't know about the Dervishes gona google now. Them Jewish bastards eh? Killing Jesus and such!:)

the dervishes were fanatics who were contolled by a warlord called "the old man of the mountains" he fueled them on a particularly potent for of hashish (in drugged state they would dance ecstatically for hours- hence "whirling dervishes".. he used them to carry out assasinations and kidnappings..this was during the first crusades.. they killed several prominent christian princes.. and the Jewish Zealots were not above using women and children to gain entrance to roman encampments.. actually, they were pro- Jesus till it became clear he wouldn't lead a military.. I believe drawing and quartering was no longer in use..have to check that..

well, Guy Fawlkes was 1600's in England. Drawing and quartering was very popular with the fasionable, and all round family entertainment. Its a shame we have given up so much of our culture:) But 1600's England. The reason I said he was one of the first terrorists is because they planned to use explosives to create fear. Your Jewish lot were not terrorists but revolutionaries. The crusades were much later than the Romans by a couple of 100 years.
