i dont know about you...but have you ever wondered what the deal is with superwomen?
THINK ABOUT THIS: supermen get what? muscles, uniform, honor, pride, only one weakness ect. ect. ect.
But what do superwomen get? ill tell you: really really really (yeah im gonna add another really in there) really, tight uniform, almost always showing their boobs, ass, and they ALWAYS wear miniskirts, oh and let us not forget the high boots. How much sluttier can u get?
Its almost like all the supermen have trophy wives.
So obviously i take this as a sign of sexism. (no its not a type of kung fu. read a book once in a while!)

well, i think intially, the concept of superheroes started off with comics. and it was assumed that the majority of the readers were male teenagers. and every superwoman was just another gimmick to keep 'em hormone crazy dudes buying the stuff.
but think about it, superheroes get tight get ups as well. yeah, their muscles show through. but if men had boobs, they'd be showing through those tight clothes.
i think that costumes are all about the image. and superwomen costumes want to portray "kick-ass" in a feminine package. if batgirl would fight in jeans and a shirt, she wouldn't get the "bad-ass" effect. right?or what would you suggest as an appropriate costume for superwomen?

well..that's true... i guess, but when i kick peoples asses with jeans and a T-shirt on and I'd say I look pretty freakin' kick ass. haha XDD.
I get what your saying, but i think they could make superwomen's clothes a smidge less whore-ish...*shrug* just throwing it out there.
