Oh New York

My mom's going to New York in about a month. She's coming back on my birthday but I want to go soo bad. It's going to be October! My favorite season is fall, but here the leaves don't even change, and the weather is perfect for maybe 2 weeks tops. NEW YORK PEOPLE. The senery will be absolutley BREATHTAKING in October. And it won't be too too cold. Last year I went in November for the 1st time. Beautiful. But freezing. I want to go sooo bad. But school is hindering that dream from happening. Yeah yeah, that's right. I would rather go to school, then New York. I must be insane! I'm sure every other teenager I know would take lovely New York over school. But I can't get behind. Even missing 2 days would be treacherous. I already miss days because of tennis, It's very important that I do well with my grades. Missing a class is stressful for me. Get the work. Get notes from a friend. I missed the lesson, have to magically know what's going on. I'm pretty much screwed. :(
