I love it...... she got her just deserves tonight....... she told my son she was going to do something and she said she would, then she turned to him and said I promise...lets pinky swear on it....And he said something I will always remember....... I'm not going to pinky swear with you....I don't trust you!!! you break pinky swears........ The look on her face was enough justice for me to (almost) forgive her for the way she's treated me over the past 8 yrs...Almost!!
On another note, there is a 50/50 shot I may get lucky this week for the first time this year... Her birthday and Fathers day fall on the same week....hey, you never know...
She came out and pretty much broke my son's heart again this week by saying that we should stop thinking about getting a camper. She has no intention to ever go camping. And I should stop giving him false hope. She still doesn't get it!!!!!! He only wants the camper so she'll come with us when we go!!! Because of what she said a while back. We were having our car worked on at the repair shop and 2 stores down was a RV sales lot. So to kill time we went there, My boy and I were talking how great it would be to have one and just drive until we found a spot and just camp out over night. He turned to her and said would you go too?? my "loving" wife said not tent camping...Never!!..... then he said wuld you go if we had one of these (talking about a camper) and she said probably not. he then asked her if she has ever been inside one and she said no.. after a few miutes he finally convince her to go inside one and look... after she saw the inside and realized that there was a bathroom/shower inside she said well maybe in one of these I would. The thought of ever having to use a public restroom or even a public shower sends chills down her spine!! the thought of not being able to take a shower creeps her out.... So the other day my son and I went looking at a camp ground, because we plan on going camping and fishing.I have been to all but 2 states in this country. Both my brothers were in the service and every year we went to visit them. My father loved to camp also, so we would drive and at night we would stop at KOA campgrounds to set up our tents. I loved it, I grew up at KOA's across the country as a child and loved every minute of it. This is something that I am going to pass on to my son. Well after we looked around at the campground we saw a RV dealership next door. It was early and we had nothing to do so we stopped in to look around. We both saw one that we liked and as luck would have it he told me that they have a used one at more than half the price. We looked at it and it was nice, the man said it's dirty now, because it came in this morning and we haven't cleaned it up yet. But they would scrub it and fix anything that was wrong. They're good people there and YES they do that good of a job. I have heard many good things about this company. So we decided we were going to leave and we told the man that we would think about it,of course I told him I had to ask the wife..He understood...and with out thinking I gave him my cell number to call me when it was cleaned up.... He said he would but, very good chance it would be gone within the day.. My son and I went back the next day to see the camper after it was cleaned up and it was nice, great price....but of course we weren't going to buy it..... well 2 days later this man calls back and tells me that it's still there and they'll lower the price if we were still interested....So I went out on a limb and asked my wife, my son over heard me tell her and he over heard her reponse...NO!!! and stop asking me, we are not getting and thats final!!!!...
So today my son and I went out and bought our first tent. I want to have it ready because next week, he is going to a week long day camp for "learning to Camp"... everything you need to know for camping out... So I kow whats coming next and this way at least now I am ready, we got a good one and it was on sale... I think our first overnight will be something local to make sure he likes it...
Well thats it for now, i'm tired and BIG day tomorrow, Annual fishing rodeo, we have been waiting for this day since the last one.. Multi-store sponsored, free fishing poles, bait and prizes for the kids. they even get a free lunch... Parents have to pay for food.. Thats okay, this day is just for the kids anyway.... We have to be there early in the morning to register....good thing,it lasts only til noon...4 hrs won't be bad....bad thing..outside temp for tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-90's!!! (ouch!!)
