Welcome to March.....
day1- took off so she can go to a CPR class...canceled soccer prac---to COLD!!
day7-1st game of season, J scored 4 goals.sale went well, she hasn't told me the final tally yet but, I know what it was..The first 2 days of my 4 off were spent working at the college,,, I have been trying to be nice, but as always, I'm to blame for something...Off hand I can't remember why we didn't speak to each other last week, but this week our new battle will be about spending time with the kids.. I turned the garden a few days ago and she just noticed it today. this lead to her telling me what I was going to have to do in the coming days.. Of course a lot of yard work. The we have a basketball pole left from the previous owners and i know the Garbage men won't take it..She said it has to go, I told her maybe we can save it for him...she laughed and said "he's not sports inclined" , I said you never know, he just may want to play in the driveway..then she addded, you know he won't, but,what do you expect? you never take him out to play anything...I thought I was going to flip out...I took a deep breath,put cig out and came back upstairs...HOW DARE SHE!!!!!! If I force to do something, then I get told not to force him...when I don't do anything, then I never do anything with him.....I was getting them ready for bed tonight and lil J had a fever, I'm sure strep throat again...She's complaining about a sore throat and all...finally got her to sleep..and of course as soon as I came downstairs,from the couch I hear, I thnk I got strep too....I just nodded and thought...Of course you do........She had a bad dream again and called for me, I laid with her for a while and rubbed her belly (she likes me to do that when she is sick)...
I can not begin to tell you how that comment made me feel...I don't do anything with him.....Although we started talking again the other day, I'm just going to ignore her until I settle down..So some more quiet days...until next time...
WOW...what a crazy month..75% of the time was arguing back and forth with each other...Her and my son argue all the time, she has said on multile times that she can't handle him anymore...I don't have a problem with him.. they both listen to me all the time, maybe have to repeat myself once or twice every once in a while,but, thats it..
We won the camper and are getting ready for our first trip,if the weather holds...
We're into April now and all I can remember about March is the arguing....actually, her yelling and blaming me for everything and me saying "yes dear or okay"....what gets me is my son thinks this is me arguing with her and I haven't raised my voice once....
