Bosnia Remembered...

His blackened heart filled
with high stubborn plans.
          How many are failing?

His people blinded,
up for the dare.
          How many are fighting?

His victims in fear,
leaving the land.
          How many are fleeing?

Shocked into silence
are the innocent.
          How many are fretting?

The bombs are dropping.
He doesn't care.
          How many are falling?

Our pilots on mark,
giving a hand.
          How many are flying?

Our Flag being burned,
as they dance about.
          How many are feasting?

New and old ideas,
Clash of boundaries.
          How many are forming?

Bullseyes on their chests,
insults they all Shout!
          How many are faulting?

Their retreat our wish,
Allies stand as one.
          How many are fuming?

History repeats
taking its fare.
          How many are forgetting?
