 The Power of Words....
Cancer- 1. Pathology. a. a malignant and invasive growth or tumor, esp. one originating in epithelium, tending to recur after excision and to metastasize to other sites. b. any disease characterized by such growths. 2. any evil condition or thing that spreads destructively; blight.

What thoughts immediately come to mind when you hear that word?

The main ones for me were all ones with the same theme....all the thoughts seemed to be 'it's over' or 'the end' that word seems to exude the end of everything.

I think that if someone were told that they had cancer, they would immediately assume that all hope was lost and that they may as well give up..

I believe that anyone can beat cancer....you just have to have the willpower..if you cave in, resign to the old 'cancer is not curable' you've let the disease win.

So that being said....I hope Rodney never gives up, never lets go of any hope, or lets himself find that he's welcoming the end....

He may be ready to leave, but I'm not ready to let go, I'm  the one who can't let him go.

Praying for him always,

Kirby
