My roommate is driving me CRAZY!!! She expects me do whatever she tells me to do. I have a life outside of our friendship. I have meetings, and classes, and other friends...She really does not understand me, or why I do the things I do. I heard her talking down the hall to one of the other residents and she was talking about a game night that her and I were planning. I had no idea we were planning a game night. She didn't even ask me, but I guess that didn't matter to her. She expects me to do tons of things for/with her, yet when it comes to eating dinner we no longer go together? What's up with that! Last night she told me "See ya I'm going to late night." Neither of us had eaten lunch and we had been together all day so she knew I had not eaten either. Usually she asks me if I want to go, now she leaves and half the time doesn't even say I'm getting something to eat want to come?
I guess I cannot complain though. I have become very dependent on the fact that we get along great and at the beginning of the school year we did everything together. So I guess this will be good for me, especially since I am getting a new roomie next year. It will make me go out of my comfort zone to meet new people and get meals by myself.
Not only that but her and her friends keep trying to hook me up with guys. I don't even know any of them, and she wants me to go out on a blind date? I don't think so! I have to get to know a guy first. I tried explaining that to her and she just didn't get it...I cannot wait for next year when we will not being seeing each other the majority of the day. I think she is a great girl, I don't have a problem with her, but I think we have been having to much time together because we are both driving each other a little crazy.
