I competely understand where you are coming from. I lived my life to please my mom even if that meant I had to suffer. ScarletBlack is right, stick to your friends sometimes they are all you are going to have. I hope things look up for you.

I spent my entire life wearing a mask...building up walls to keep everyone and everything out. I still have that wall it comes down in pieces, but it is still very much there. This reminds me of a song "Stained Glass Masquerade" by Casting Crowns. Once again great post.
