I did the Tour de Phoenix today...it was so hard...I was aiming for Platinum (AND I DID IT!).  Going down University was fast fast and scary scary, we were doing 40 miles an hour just inches apart...amazing that there werent more wrecks.  Once we got to the climbs on Bush Highway that is where the real pain came into play..he he I picked a tandem and tucked in behind them all the way to the finish...I hope when I do Prescott this race elevates my game.  Yesterday I went to see the Nova Classic and did part of the Pemberton Trail in Fountain Hills.  It was fun but I was really disappointed with the expo...there was basically no expo...oh well I guess mountain biking has taken a real hit in recent years.  There was a time a few years ago when Mountain Biking Nationals were huge deals with tons of vendors and sponsors.  Times change...we need another cycling star to burst out and rule the biking world!  Well now I am home just resting and contemplating what's for dinner...probably may just run out real quick to grab something then chill at home watching movies.  I got a bit of work to finish before Monday as well...ha ha exciting life huh?!?!  It actually is cause I had a good time today socializing with all my friends at the event..very exciting :)
