So I am in Florida now! The trip was fairly nice, no delays and really good aisle seats. I like flights like that where you get on the plane and the next thing you know you are there! Had a little problem with the car but I got that squared away and got to my Orlando hotel. WOw! What a great choice! THe Doubletree at the entrance to Universal. The room was amazing...on the 12th floor with a view of Universal, flat screen TV, very comfortable bed and just a good vibe. Good thing I spent a lot of time researching it :) Walked over to the City Walk last night and had a reasonable Italian dinner. The best thing was the Land Shark beer! Yum! WOw it was one of the best beers I have ever had. I had to have a lot of self control because I could drink a gallon of that stuff. Heh heh would not be cool to spend the night in a Universal City gutter! There was a band there too playing rock...cool band they even played ColdPlay one of my favs. So much fun stuff..but something was missing, and I know what it is and I am working on that. This trip is sure solidifying my thoughts and my decisions. One has to make the decisions that will make them happy every day for the rest of their lives. Goig to EPCOT today...I love technology and learning about it and being amazed by it...should be fun but damn there is a lot of fog and maybe a lot of rain today! Oh well will not be the first time I go to a theme park all day in a poncho. The trip continues...Shout out to BFC'sM! |
