| The 5th Day |

Today the twins turn 2. Wow! Time has gone by so quickly. The mother watches her children play, thinking to herself about how lucky she is. She had to take Pepper to another child psychologist recently because her demeanor has not changed. She is still withdrawn and cold. She doesn't want hugs or kisses. She shys away from all people. She screams and cries when you pick her up. The mother is so worried. She doesn't know what to think of the situation. She watches her play contently on her own in the corner as usual. She looks somehow happy by herself. Piper looks longingly at her sister, wanting her to come an play, but Pepper won't respond to her. It doens't take long for them two to be in a fight because Piper wants to play and Pepper doesn't. But not today. They sit content on either side of the room playing on their own. The mother has invited over some other children and their mothers to help the children learn to socialize. The doorbell rings. That must be them.
