 Why men like Sarah
Two TV shows over the weekend got me thinking about why it is that men are so on Sarah Palin train.
I mean many men would say "I am not voting for a woman" and now will not hesitate for her.
Why?
Well first there was the opening of Saturday Night Live.
It was a skit of her and Hilary at a joint speech talking
(Best line in it had to be "Yeah Sarah, that is the key, I just did not want (the Presidency) enough!"
The contrast that it brought to mind is striking.

Then on THE CHRIS MATTHEWS SHOW, the Sunday one I mean, not Hardball.  He was asking why do men support Palin?

So I thought about it and I think I know why.
It is because we see it all in her.
The wife/mom that we all want at our side taking care of our kids.
The smart woman that is successful and can keep up with us.
But also she is still a woman.  She has not forgot that part.
She looks like the cute neighbor we all have that when her husband is away and she needs the gutters cleaned your wife wonders why you are so ready to do it for her.
You can see her patting her husbands ass in a playful manner.
She is closer than any woman has bee to being the leader of the free world, yet she is still a woman in out eyes.

I mean Hillary was NEVER sexy.
She was never playful.
She never made 99 percent of men look twice at her even when she was 44.
Palin does.

I always thought that one day we would have a woman in the White House, but I always thought like most people, that we would need to find the "American Thatcher", a woman that had worked her way up, been respected and now was as ready as any man.  And a woman from the right wing side of the ilse.     A few have begun that climb but never made it that far.  New Jersey had a Gov. that I once thought might be on her way there but she tanked.

Palin is something different then we expected, but maybe better.
Heck, I liked the Iron Lady and all but she was not that much a looker.....sorry Margert.

because she's cute? how about if anything happens to McCain, this person would become the President. She says she can see Russia from Alaska... I think people are missing the point here. This is not about a woman in which other women can relate to, this is about running a Country, not just any Country...the United States of America. Along with great power, comes great responsibility. Ask yourself, can this woman handle this? With 5 children? a baby, with down syndrome, no less? She is the governor where the population is around 600,000....there's more people than that in the county i live in...Is it just me, or is something not adding up here?

WK..Hmmm...She is a pretty woman, and a mother, wife and apparently smart. However, we are talking about a very important decision..not who men could bed down with..or fantasize about. Remember she could be left to make life altering decisions that can change the way we live. She could be the most powerful woman in our world. I am not certain she is prepared for that responsibility. I am not sure she understands the gravity of the situation on foreign policies, or even the importance of running the United States. I am proud that she is kicking the sexy mama/professional look up a notch..but the presidency?? Hmmmmm.

Now I have to admit..that when she is on camera, her husband is usually nearby..and I am checking him out the entire time. :D ha!

See I think you guys missed the point
I am saying it makes her still human....not to say we simply think she is cute.

Why is Bill Gates doing these ads he is now? To appear more down to earth..he is a brilliant man but he was not seen as human, Hillary may be smart but she turns men off and thus we do not see her as human...
I know many men and women who looked at Hillary and asked could they listen to her for 4 years and said NO so they voted the other way

Why Women DON"T like Palin:

She wants to reverse Roe vs Wade... including cases of RAPE and INCEST... she even admitted it w/ Charles Gibson... How can she be a quality choice when she believes that a girl that was RAPED by her FATHER should be forced the trauma of the pregnancy and knowing that she's having her own brother? How is that good for this country? she might be cute, she might be a decent parent, but as a politician i don't want her to made decisions regarding MY body and MY choices that women before me fought so hard to get?

not to mention she believes in creationism...that's just ignorant

Folks, we have no choice but to see that any election is about image, not politics. Build up your own image....tear down the other person's. Palin has a good image. So does Obama, except for the whole Islamic part of his image. McCain and Biden both have old school images. It should be interesting.
