OK , I know what all people who think God is a delusion or fantasy or whatever will say to this story, and I also can hear the cries from the other side.....so please don't repeat them.
And frankly some Sundays I sit there and believe, some I think this is a waste, and some I think this is just a nice moral code...but if Mother Theresa doubted, who am I to be sure...Anyway the other day KP was saying good bye to me as I readied for church, we were IMing, and she said to ask God for her why she got such bad cards and could she have new ones so she was not so mad at him....so I did.
I felt weird asking God to make her healthy, as her health means I will at least get to meet her, if not marry her, and that means divorce and a life of sin...but listen if I can pray for something as meaningless as the Jets to win I can pray for this....so I sit back and get the book that has the readings in it from the lil thing on the back of the pew in fromt of me when a piece of paper falls out...it is a prayer to St Jude and it said to pray it 6x in 9 days and you will get the request you want no matter how impossible.....is it God, is it just a coincidence, is it luck, who knows????
But trust me I am doing it !!!!!!
