You and I have not ever really talked, although I know you commented a few times to my posts so I will be maybe less "personal" in the touch this has.
There is no advice that anyone can give you beyond one sentence:
Love your child
Go any further and it is a bit pointless as every child is different and every parent is different. That last observation comes from the NO DUH section of the book but you know what I mean.
If you love any child you can not go wrong in the long run.
And know that you are going to do it right, no matter what you do, because if it is wrong you can fix it.
