Ok...since I have a few minutes here let me explain my marriage....from when I first started to see girls as something that were attractive and began asking them out I have have had bad luck w/ them.
This is not made easier to swallow by the fact I have two younger brothers that women fell all over, one a year younger than me....
in 8th grade I dance a slow dance w/ a girl that I liked, no deep love there not even puppy love, and she went from the cute duckling to the sexy swan in HS but another HS so we had lost touch...
in Freshman year of HS I fell hard for another cute girl that I lost to another guy, and then later all men lost her as she became a man(yes I turned a woman to a man, when you stop laughing you can read on)...
Junior year I met a girl I tried to date for 3 full years, asked her out, bought her flowers, even serenaded her under her window once..no soap...at least she is still a woman.
College I sort of decided I wanted to be the smart version of Belushi in Animal House...Bluto w/ a 3.5 GPA so I asked women out, feel into infatuation w/ a few, but no great loves.
BTW back to HS for a second,,,asked 20 girls to the prom in 2 years as a Junior and a Senior and nothing, not a one yes.
Did have a short time gf in high school but long story short it did not last as we both decided it was not going to.
After college I dated a few, all first dates, used newspaper ads in the personals, tried the OLD style computer dating(preinternet), and have storied and one second date but nothing...even went to therapy to see if it was me or just bad luck.
Was a bit of both...till I met my wife,,,we met and at first we were just mildly intrested, but one date became two, became going out, became engaged, became I am stepdad to a kid that had no dad as he died when he was only 1 day old...anyway...I married her even though I had my doubts..listen the first woman that ever loved me, and my first sex...(see the pool scene in Ferris Bueller)...anyway....now 12 yrs down the road I have cheated a few times and I see she is not the one and never was the one...a lovely lady but I need more that she can offer.....and next blog will explain more.....
