 Me, KP & Ralph Nader
NO , IT IS NOT THE WORST IDEA of a  THREESOME EVER !!!
LOL

For months I have been told by some that know the whole KP story that I need to face facts, I need to realize that for many reasons KP is never going to come or I go there, and we are married
To these people I say *BRONX CHEER*RASPBERRY*

But there are times when people need to see that they need to just face facts, and Ralph, I am talking to you!

For those not familiar w/ Mr Nader, he is a consumer activist from the 60's and 70's, who I think still is wearing a suit he bought then and last had pressed in the mid-80's.
He did some significant things
If I am not mistaken he made seatbelts in cars mandatory, he got shoddy products off the market, he even had a car recalled and never built again, the Covair I think.
He is a liberal icon

Back in 2000 he ran for President as a third party candidate and is "blamed" for causing Al Gore to lose the race as his votes would have, it is thought, have gone to Gore. I never really completely buy into that in that there are people who voted JUST to vote for him and may not have voted at all if he had not run. But for the sake of this post lets say he impacted the race by getting I think 3 percent of the vote.
He sat 2004 out and now is back to try again
Why?

Again, for the international audience reading this, unless you have enough voted to win a whole state you win nothing in Novemeber's election. And frankly unless you win some big state with alot of electoral votes, it means little in that if someone else gets the 270 votes needed to be President he wins. I could do a whole civics lesson here and bore the hell out of you all but I will not.

So why run?
*He can not win enough states to win, he can not win one state in fact. I mean we have had strong third party candidates in our history, the Republican Party was a 3rd party once in fact. As recently as 1968 we had a 3rd party candidate that won states and could have had an impact. Irony is his platform was based almost solely on racism and 40 years later a black man may win some of those same states on the way to being President.
*He is not a movement that might catch fire and win out of nowhere. For years people have said we should put a business man in the White House, so Ross Perot came along, he was a fun speaker, he said down home things, and people might have caught fire and maybe even won if he also was not seeing little men from Mars on his front lawn and thought the goverment was making it rain on the day of his daughter's wedding to make him mad. If it was 1972, maybe Ralph Nader could be that. He was a cursader then that people saw as hip and counter-culture and out for the little guy. Now he is a smart man, but an old man in a bad wrinkled suit
*He really has no message that needs to be gotten out. The ballot in Novemeber will be littered with one issue party candidates that want to make us Communist, or legalize hemp, or make us stop eating meat or build a landing strip for the Vulcans when they land. But really what is message that Ralph Nader has? Nothing
He thinks there is no liberal voice, really??? Did you watch the same debate i did the other night Ralph? Two people debating how much money they will take from my wallet to redistribute to others...sounds liberal to me.

Listen anyone can run for President , feel free.
All I am saying is that you need to know when it is time to just say my time has passed. I am not saying he or anyone needs to give up living, by no means. What I am saying is that just like the 50 year old guy that goes to the singles bar with his shirt open, his Polo cologne seeping from every pore, using bad pick up lines...sometimes you have to know when it is time to leave. That same guy, in a nice shirt, pair of Dockers, walking in a park or a supermarket, or at a meeting of people with a similar hobby is not a joke and might meet a great woman.
In the club he is a joke.
Ralph Nader running for President is a joke.
Ralph Nader fighting against shoddy and dangerous Chinese imports, which has become an issue in toys and dog food, is hearing "Go get'em" from even a conservative like me
