The other day I was being interviewed for a part time job, just need to kill a lil debt and have the time so why not?  Anyway...while i was being interviewed they were asking what I had in terms  of personality traits that would be good in this job.  One that came right to mind is that  I really am great w/ kids and this job  requires alot of  interaction w/ kids.  But as I was about to say this  I stopped.  It is a  shame that I have to even think this but that a 40ish man was good w/ kids sounds creepy I thought so I gave them a little preamble that it might and said it.  Why is the world so sick and twisted that if a man likes kids and is great w/ them and it is 1 trillion percent innocent that we even need to think that way???!!!!  It really stinks.  The world asks that men be good parents, good dads, yet it seems that every man is seen as a predator if he likes kids"too much".  I mean I am not talking Micheal Jackson levels where you nap w/ kids and almost avoid the adult world, or those creepy guys that build a room in their house that is filled w/ video games and invite kids you meet over, that is sick.  And I also am not talking about guys my age that see 14 year old girls as attractive, that is also a sickness.  I am mean that a man can't smile at a kid these days in a store w/o people raising eye brows.....and that is a real shame.   And the real shame is that I guess i passed this ability to have fun w/ kids and being drawn to them and them to me to my step son, and I already hear that people think it is weird that a boy his ageis that able to relate to young kids.   As I said, sick world.
