It may be months before I meet KP, if ever
My wife may not be the woman I want her to be and she may never be, and trying to make her better may be a lost cause
I may have less money in my bank account than I would like
This year may be hard for many reasons ......
But
Hope springs enternal
Why?
Pitchers and catchers reported and soon there will be baseball and soon I will be looking at the grass of the baseball cathedral that is sadly singing it's last hymns
Soon Bob Shepard will be booming that perfectly pronounced voice from the Bronx
And no matter if you root for the Yankees, or the Cubs or even the Devil Rays, hope begins again
For all but the Beantown Bums, call me when you get to 20 championships and we will talk
....just like you got to 19-0 before NY killed that dream
