OK this again is one of those that I warn you may make some of you mad...but it might make you think too!!! Alright as a man in his mid 40's in the Northeast I have been treated to a front row seat to the rantings of the NY figure Al Sharpton. The country has seen him on and off but I get him in a steady diet. Everything is race with this man. Black and white are the only two colors the man sees. He however is not the only one and entire generations have grown up w/ the idea that THE MAN is holding down minorities in this country. It is the reason/excuse for all things in many circles. But if a man of color get tto be President, the most powerful man in this country, the leader of the free world, Commander in Chief, the 44th man to sit in that office...does not that kill that arguemet??? How are we keeping people down, how is it everyone's fault but the man in the mirror if someone that looks alot like all the oppressed class(supposedly oppressed) is in that high office??? He made it through work, education, a lil luck maybe I grant you in being at the right time in the crossroads of history. I do not believe in one of his policies frankly, but I see him as a decent guy who wants the job to make the country better, unlike the Wicked Witch of the East....so I hope people give him the same shot everyone else has and I think they are. And if they are, again, doesn't that pop a big balloon for the Sharpton crowd?
