| Do women really want to be equal?

As anyone that reads this blog knows, I am thinking seriously about divorce.
The more I look into this the more I see that this system we have really stinks!!!
OK, so I make 2x more than my wife, pay all the "family" bills with my salary while she just pays the debt she makes, I keep her fed, housed, warm and cool(electric bill pays for the AC which I bought) yet when I decide to end it, I am told that I need to not only split everything down the middle but also pay her money monthly???
Huh???
So if I worked less, made less and now had less to split and gave her a less full lifestyle that would have been better for me?
And no guy who is just plugging along as an average Joe with little to really protect when he married is going to think pre-nup.
Child support is one thing and I am all for that....but maybe we need in the world of working women, and equal rights and all that to look again at all the divorce laws and see if maybe the victims can get a break, namely men. |

How about telling us .How many years have you being marry?How old is she? I do belive men do get taken If she did not work and if it was all you doing the work ,Then she should get something you left it happen, If she works then 50/ 50 no more then you get. I think she should also pay child support 50/50 allways remember it takes two.

Shelly, if you had read any of WK past post you would know that 1, there is only a few years difference in their age, 2 They have been married for more than 10 years, 3 They have bothed worked all there married life, 4 WK Stepson is old enough now that child support won't come into it.
