Listen, if I and all that pray for KP were not praying for a lovely, loving woman to get better so she can live and see her kids grow, so she can live and make the world better, I can live w/ this God's will stuff...
We are not praying for The Yankees to win, or whatever team you root for...we are not praying for the "lil red bike" or a pony. We are praying to make the world better. So save me the God's will stuff !
As for the answer to this question, I have no answer. I could say that the prayers make the doctor's smart, make then provide the right treatment but....
and yes I believe in prayer, but KP while i love you more than I want my next heart beat, I think much of prayer comes from the prayed for as much as the prayer. YOU need to believe.
And yes, if you really put this all together I wonder about prayer in this sense...God knows how this all ends, so why pray? But then people will say that He also knew you would pray, the prayer increases faith, and the faith is the real product....well if that is it why not skip this all, avoid the cancer, and I would believe in his great love in that he brought this angel into my life named KP.
Tomorrow the question will be how many angels dance on the head of a pin.

See I think he has a wrong idea(what else is new)he has an idea that Miss 8 is not saying this all but that this is all yoir voice and her mouth moves.

Problem is there is not a good solution here.
You can not say talk to her, as he will think she is coached
Unless...just an idea here....right now from all I get Tuesday and Saturday are Dad days...roughly (it is far more detailed but you get the drift)
Have him add a day
Lets pick Thursday just for sake of an example
Thursday is JS and Dad day
It may be a win/win as long as he does not start replacing the other two with that day!
1)He gets what he wants and they gte to know her
2)Miss 8 and Master 4 get more dad time, yes it is shared time but it is more
3)They do not lose the time they have now with him alone
Ok here is the idea fleshed out
All parties agree that any week that Tueday and Saturday are Dad ONLY days and Dad shows up and gives his all(see the kids get a motivated FOTY too, I like this better by the second) he gets that extra day next week where all 4 of them go out. Any week they he does not, he loses it. Now the one thing is that Miss 8 and Mater 4 need to agree also that no making him show up Tuesday & Saturday and then she/he backs out on Thursday.
Try this for three months and maybe by then it might not be needed.
But maybe a "family"..read no JS...sit down about this might be good. If you come up with this FOTY might even be so thrown he might agree to anything. LOL

What if he slowly brings her into the situation? The "accidental run in" at the show if it lasts 15 minutes or so might not be bad
Listen, I think he is wrong in what he did but the reality is that their lives, for better or worse, are going to include JS. It is a fact. And while he can not ram her down their throats, she does need to strta creeping in.
MAYBE you and FOTY talk and all 5 of you go to dinner one night. I know he will hate this idea but it might help Miss 8 and it is what she wanted.

And maybe the rest is that he sees his little girl, his baby is happy so he can rest.
See it as a good thing if you see it that way, he was watching you, now that he sees you are on the right track he can leave you in the hands of a man he trusts, David, and he does not need to watch anymore. In a sense he just gave you away at your wedding to David, and this time he knows he did the right thing.

1) You are not running for President
2) The IRA is not a religion, Muslim is a I think that if people read the NEW Testament they see a loving God , read the Koran you see alot of violence. But even if you take that away...the IRA is in Ireland and England and I do not see then electing an Irish Prime Minister in England
3)Many of us "cherry pick" what we agree w/ and what we do not from any church we are part of. However, we also leave any church, as in parish in terms of Catholics, that had a priest there we did not like. I mean yes, some areas do not have the luxury of "pastor shopping" but he is in Chicago, he has the ability to find a church that he likes more of the same denomination.
4) If he is not in line w/ this pastor why use his words to title his book?
5) And I hate Hilary w/ a passion, but fair is fair. If she can not talk about the great economy of the 90's, which was alot of smoke and mirrors but ok you are President you get the credit, but she can not get that credit if she does not take the bad "morals" w/ it. Mr Obama has said that, If that is so why does he get to cherry pick his pastor's words?

I have thought about both you dear ladies points and I would think that what I have said is a wake up call.
I have all but told her I am making plans for divorce and yet that seems to not shake her, again it is as if she wants me to decide this and plan this so she can just be victim....EASY: first of all that last line, was that a proposal??LOL
But seriously I think that you have a point, and she has often said I need to fish or cut bait, but to go back to my first point, I doubt she is not aware of what I am doing and feeling. If I did this all under some cover of smiles that hid it all, sure, but she often says she sees I am miserable and unhappy with life as it stands so I think she at least sense I am planning for how to walk away. or at the very least planning on how to make sure things are OK SHOULD I walk away

OK, it is simple and VERY complicated at the same time...the best way I think to go into this is tell her that if she ever feels uncomfortable to come to you. That just like she knows that there are things that do not go into her mouth, there are things that for now that do not go in her private parts.
She needs to not get some complex about sex or self pleasure so it might be hard. But maybe if you say that until she gets older, as old as *pick a cousin, sister, friend that is a teen* when mommy will talk about it again, that no one puts anything in there. If you want to add that she can put her fingers in there, to avoid what I am worrying about before with complexes, then that might be Ok.
Equating what you told her about putting things in her mouth with other people putting things in her private areas might be the 3 year old level.
