PS...I will take an old white man that got his body abused and beaten rather than leave his men behind...the Veit Cong knew who he was and was ready to let him leave, but he stayed because his men were there...politics aside I want a man of that honor as my leader. I may not always agree w/ him and he may not be the "sexy" candidate but that is a man of honor

Can I rear the face of the "ugly American"?? The world always seems to want to point out our faults,,,and I would point out that some of the things you point to as wrong about us I see as positives, ie the health care thing...but when you have a disaster you come to us...The Sunami hit and we did not act fast enough the world moans, yet New Orleans is flattened and we help ourselves. But we are backwards??? the worst mad men in the world start world domination, and almost get it if it was not for the English holding on so I tip a hat to them, but the world needed us to come and save it. I klnow, that was 60 years ago, but you still need our help and it amazes me that we get a slap in the face and not a thank you.

It is either that or, and this may be risky, getting the family to chip in for people to come and do all this. It is a shame when family gives up on people. And maybe, and tis might be hard, get a storage unit for her valid treasures and either throw out the rest and tell her you did or throw out the rest and lie and say it is all in the unit

I agree. I watch the people of my parents generation age and what makes me have some hope for myself is that they both aged gracefully. they have always taken great care of themselves so that helps, but neither ever seemed to care when the numbers clicks one more notch....vs the people you see that try to stay 20 when they are 60

And what makes this all the sadder is that the man that could have defended her was busy defending all of us. I think that we need to let that man come home and get 10 minutes in a room with each of them, both pieces of scum, and then this will be just. I forget where I heard this recently but think it fits here " I do not believe in vigilanty justice, except where it works!"

Well....,and I know I will be the 'ugly American" here, I come to the conclusion that few outside the US and maybe even outside the DC/NY/Boston east coat corridor(and yes I include you Shanksville Pa.) really get the full impact of 9/11 as deep as we do. But 9/11 was just the worst of the terror. The USS Cole, the first WTC bombing(which Hillary's co-President ignored), The bombing of that barracks in Lebanon, the London train bombs.... they all were the acts of a people hell bent on religious world domination as sure as a certain German in the 30' & 40's, ironically given the Jewish documentary that made you think about this. We have a people that want us dead. Not just the USA, but we are the lynch pin. If they get us, trust me guy, and I know you know this Canada, England, Aus. and the world w/ maybe a few exceptions are coming down the drain closely after us. I am not over blowing the intentions these people have. They will not rest till we are dead or praying to Allah

Listen, I agree, there are evil people on all ends of any situation in life. I have a whole arguement about the criminal act causing the preg. part that basically boils to why punish the child for the dad's crimes...but I can get the emotional toll that making a woman carry that baby would cause so I am not 100 percent sold on it. That is why I tried to stay w/ a very legal angle. bUt like any angle in this issue, it can not stay legal and that is also understandable

Posted in Divorce ends marriages on 2008-01-18 10:45:14
Well it is more this: KP and I met online, it grew, and we went thru a few ups and down where I pushed her away, she got ill and pushed me away, she got better and was close to coming, etc. So in my heart I would not be being truthful if I do not say that yes it is emotional cheating. Had KP come on the visit she was to have last year it would have been physical cheating. I am not hding or making excuses. But I went from a man that was presented very early in my marriage w/ a chance to cheat and said I had caught my limit at ONE, to a man that needs more and is madly in love w/ another woman. I am not making this ALL my wife's fault but I think if you read the posts about her you will see that it is more her fault than mine. I loved that woman and romanced her, and tried to make her feel cherished and she was unable to see that and return the love. KP can attest that twice in the two years we have been talking that I have said that I wanted to make another try at the marriage, once early on when KP was all but on a plane here. I wanted to be a good man but behind every good man is a good woman and when that woman walks away from certain things, the man falls down.

Posted in A question for the moms in the audience on 2008-01-17 11:43:32
OK maybe I muddled the question w/ the examples....so let me try again...the thing that will bring you heartache and the thing that will bring the child happiness are not the same issue. I know I may have made it a lil foggy w/ the divorce example, but don't think that I mean divorce per say, it is more if you could be hurt deeply but it meant your child was happy would you do it?

Posted in Religion vs God on 2008-01-14 11:57:00
And Difficult Soul I respect everything you just said. I am just of the opinion that a religion based on "Your own personal Jesus" as the song goes is great in theory. Socialism is great in theroy. But people screw it up. People screw up organized religion too, and I know that. It is just that I think that however you come to God, you need to make sure it is not a false God. I am fine if some tribesman in the deepest part of the world believes God is a the wind and rain, if he really truly thinks athat and it gives him peace and makes him live a good life. I also agree that God would never tell anyone to do evil for him, but that sort of makes my point in that some people think he does, their spirtual radio is mis-tuned. Again I am not saying any one religion is the answer, I am just of the thought you need need a religion whatever that may be. Again, I could be wrong

I do not plan on voting for him as a lifelong conservative but I dod not have the same fear w/ him that i do w/ the evil witch,,,as Chris Rocke said "If my wife got up on this stage, not one of you will laugh" Why does Hillary think she can do the job because her man did it?"

Posted in Abortion is not the answer. Never on 2008-01-12 09:35:26
I agree. I think much of my wife's issues stem from that she had an abortion as a 21 year old. I think that unless you are heartless, and she is not, you need to turn off certain parts of your personality to make it through. Almost like when they turn off circuits to prevent an overload. I just think she forgot to flip all the switches back to on. That it hurts as bad as you say it does shows you are a good person, so do not beat yourself up too bad. *HUG*

See I am completely able to see that sometimes the majority needs to let the minority have a few concessions, or it becomes tyranny by the majority. However, I think that too much lately we need to see that we live in a world w/ others.

Ok. I know you do not mean all men so I am not at all offended. 1)The work thing was just that. People will use whatever bombs they have to throw at you at work if you are rivals for a job or an idea 2) An 18th century woman would be refreshing if she had a 21st century brain and you seem to. I have a son that is in his late teens and can tell you that I have no idea what we are feeding our little girls but WOW are they alot more forward and aggressive than when I went to school!!!! I would have had more dates this way I guess but I am not sure I would have liked it in the long run. 3) Smart, funny, sexy woman are great and very attractive. 4) As for women molding men like clay...within reason they do. Women civilize men. Not all men need it mind you, but many do. And men make women better too. Go to an all girls school, a college, and visit the dorms. Those women look more unkempt and all, why? No "world"/men to see them. And guys are the same way. Only thing is women will at times look good for themselves, men for the most part not so much. And it needs to also be the right woman. My biggest complaint/feeling is that my wife does not push me to be better, dress better, look better...but I have found a woman that does. So hang in there and there is a guy out there for you

Was very into a blog of this woman that had real deep issues, gave her advice that was easy to do and would have helped her but she saw a phone call as too hard. I love that you are woman that wants to fix her problems, a person that wants to,,,and not just whine *CLAPPING*

Posted in Daily Goals Progress - Days 5-9 on 2008-01-09 12:04:41
You have tried to do alot all at once and I would normally say take one at a time BUT you are doing so well!!! And that you did not simply put off certain things to"work on one thing at a time" shows you are a lady w/ guts and while I can see by her posts that you are already so I am just stating the obvious...I bet you are your daughter's hero that you are doing all this. If I did not have a mom already I would ask that you adopt me

Two points 1) Have never seen a toilet on Star Trek but have seen bathroom in terms of a bathroom sink and mirror 2) On 24 if you put the seasons together there is no way that the United States population would not all be crazy unless they have Valium in the water supply, 2 nuclear explosions, Air Force one shot out of the sky, one exPresident and two current Presidents assassinated, nuclear meltdowns, killer virius let loose in hotels, terrorist attacks of all sorts, a President so corrupt he makes Nixon look like an angel...but this all never seems to get mentioned and it seems like life moves on as normal w/ no long term effects on the American people's mental health

This may come out wrong, if it does I mean this in a good way...I have discovered that in life you need to be selfish at times if you want to be happy. You can not be totally that way, but you need to make the ME decisions at times. You did that and it is going great,,,go on my blog and read the quote under MAN IN THE ARENA...you made a woman in the arena choice, so forget the critics

Let me clarify,,if your car getting a flat makes you late I am understanding as long as it is not every week. What I am talking about is that you are here, someone says you have a flat and now I need to hear about it over and over while you work to get it fixed. If I walk out at the end of the day and you have a dead battery or a flat I will most likely help you but given that you have AAA and you have all day to get it fixed it is not a situation where you face any danger...all it is is wanting to tell me like I am your daddy or husband

Posted in The Triumph Of The West on 2008-01-03 15:05:15
I think that Chinese thought can never really take hold as it is FAR to anti-western thought that we all grew up on, no matter how powerful they get. And I really am having my doubts that the big Chinese surge is going to happen. Two reasons: 1) I think as the USSR saw, once you open the window to let some of your ideas out, the wests ideas flow in. China is FAR FAR FAR too closed in a country to ever fully allow that window open. It is a two way street and they know that 2) Despite your predictions I think that the 2008 Olympics will be a PR disaster. there will be protests, the press WILL look at the wrongs but not until the games are over and the press is out of town. I think they will regret they ever sought this out. China has remained that society for thousands of years because they were isolated and I think once they let thought in they will see they want it out.
