Okay, time to post something that I've been pissed about.
You know how people sometimes like to give names to inanimate objects? (rocks, books, pumpkins, etc) Well, you would think that if they had the creativity to do that, they would have the creativity to name the thing something other than BOB!
ARGH! You have no idea how much it pisses me off to hear someone say, "I found a rock. I shall name it Bob." It is not hard, people, to come up with an original name for your inatimate object. GRRRR.
For example, I used to have a mini pumpkin someone gave me for Halloween. I carried it around school the whole day, and named it. It was a pretty sweet name, if I do say so myself. What was the name, you ask? Dr. Rodney Phillip Howard, PHD. I'm not sure if that's name-ically correct, but whatever. Anyway, the point is, everyone loved him and wanted him for their own. Even my Geometry teacher gave it a pet name. She called it the "PHD pumpkin." Clever, eh? The only person I allowed to fangirl him was my friend Melissa. She was devastated when he.....um....died.
Do you think allĀ of this would have occured had I given Rodney the name "Bob?" One syllable is not enough to describe my love for this heartthrob of pumpkins!!!
As for how he died, that is a different story, but I assure you it was heartbreaking.
