 Room 315 II
I talked to my sister in law who informed me kaylee was released from the hospital.  She also informed me that she and the children went to visit my cousin yesterday.  The news was good considering the last time they saw each other was over 5 months ago and every time we talk he asks about them.  With her work schedule it's hard for her to get time off and something always came up when she tried to schedule a visit.  She also explained the baby might need surgery, she would have to be out of work for a month, and how she could not afford to miss work.  I told her everything would be okay and hopefully she would not need surgery.

The problem is that her bladder does not empty and it causes infections.  The doctors speculated after she was born the issue would heal with time, but with time it has not.  I gave her encouragement the situation would be alright.  I wanted to give her the assurance of not having to worry about work if the need for surgery was confirmed.  The strain on her parents raising the grandchildren has taken a significant toll on the family.  With the announcement of her sister's undue pregnancy, the load has become even greater for her father and mother who are the main providers.

I know he has done alot for my cousins children and I must admit that I have and have not been there as I should.  At times I am there, but have not been able to provide as I would like.  It's frustrating because I feel her pain, worry, and concern.  The concern of missing work because of a possible surgery should not have to be an issue; however, the issue is real.  As I look at the good I am thankful kaylee is doing better; also they were able to see her father.  By showing care and concern to the family the differences of old are lessened; therefore, a few pressures are potentially erased.  An understanding is gained.  Have you ever tried to help or wanted to but was unable to?  I know the words of encouragement are appreciated during these trying times.  I pray the child will not need surgery.  Thank you for your prayers, please continue to pray for kaylee and the family.
