As I watch the final results of the primaries I see a shift in the expectations of the numerous news stations. The unexpected shock of McCain and Obama sweeping the primaries was astounding. With so much emphasis on earning delegates, I wonder if the politico expected a change in the front runner position. The battle for the dem. nomination is far from over, however I know the camps of McCain and Obama wish they were. I heard yesterday of a presidential debate between the camps of Obama and Clinton will be held the 21st in Austin. I wonder if any tickets will be available to attend the event. I would enjoy seeing the likes of both debate issues that affect millions of Americans i.e. mortgage crisis, education, health care, immigration, outsourcing, and many other topics. The debates when attended in person allows one to gain a greater understanding of the overall candidate. The forum is like a second home to a candidates considering the nature of politics and the need to express ones ideas. With the news of a change in the Clinton camp, I suppose the debate in Austin will take a different tone from previous debates. Nevertheless, the candidates will refocus their aims in the quest to gain their presidential bids.
Addition -I called University of Texas at Austin, no one has any information regarding the debate. I guess I'll be watching on T.V.
