When and do we have a right to judge others?
As stated in the bible, he who is without sin, may cast the first stone.  For those that know the story, this has to do with someone being judges by others for what they considered a sin.  But what you also know, no one threw a stone.  Why is that?

Everyday, we spend time judging others either by their appearance, their beliefs, their affiliations, their race, color, hell, the list goes on and one.  I bet if you put a book together about what to judge others on, there would be a beginning, but no ending.  Each day, depending on our experience, the way we judge others is always changing.  So, why do we do this?  Just go the the self help section of a book store and you will find as many reasons as there are people to give them.

Here is what I think is the truth.  I'm not telling you to consider this but from my experience, this is what I have come to believe.  It is never anyone's right to judge another unless you want to be judged.  This is the irony of this.  Most of the time, we judge people by a set of standards we have each come to believe by what we have learned throughout our lives.  We have all been judged by others.  We could have the best lives and live in pure joy and have people think that we are either high or that we can't be that happy.  What about the guy living on the streets.  Most would think it's because he's on drugs, or doesn't want to be responsible or he can't get a job or........

But, think about this.  How can you judge another person unless you have lived their life?  How do you know you would be any different?  We can assume why someone is in a situation but as the word assume implies, when you assume, you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me".   What most people don't think about is how our judgements and assumptions affect other people.  What if you are judging someone for something they are innocent of or assuming someone is doing something they aren't doing?  More times than not, that person will get tired of convincing others that should not be judging them and they become what they are being judged for.  I've done it and admit it, you've done it.  I don't know too many people that haven't done this.  Actually, I can't think of anyone.  Either way, if we spend more time seeing people as they are and accepting that without judgement or assumptions, you will actually find out who they really are.  Now, when you find out who they really are and they are a threat to your happiness and love, you don't need to judge them.  All you have to do is accept them for who they are, and choose whether to have them in your life or not.   At this point, you aren't judging.  You are choosing.
