my old best friend soon to be ex has recently taken up cocaine. idk what to do.

Shop him / her to the Police. If they're just on it and not in possession or looking to supply it then maybe it'll be the scare they need to grow up and get a life.
It's illegal at the end of the day, you have a responsibility as a citizen to report crime if you know it's going on. You could be saving your friend's life because through this their dealer could be caught and think how many other people's lives could be protected.

I wouldnt turn my friend new or old in to the police. but to each is own. I am in that situation now. my bestest friend has a cocaine problem and she knows it. but all you can do is be there when they fall, and believe me if they dont stop. they will fall.

I know exactly how you feel...my big sister recently started cocaine, ever since she started working at this bar...where all of her coworkers do it. A few nights ago i went over to her apt where we drank and then she asked me if i wanted to do a line with her!!! i was appalled! she then spent the next 30 min. trying to convince me to do it with her....i said no but i watched her do it off her bathroom sink...i havent talked to her since...i dont know what to do either but if you figure it out please let me know!!!
