Today is a good day. Woke up a little early, had a nice relaxing breakfast to start my morning, got the kids around and headed off to work. Found out that my wife is going out of town for the weekend, and she's taking the kids with her. Now I know what you're thinking, but I'm not that kind of guy. Her cousin is graduating from Iowa university and he is throwing himself a graduation party, and since my wife thinks that she has to attend EVERY single party and event and christmas program that her family is participating in, she has decided to leave me with an empty house for the weekend.
Since I'm not much of a drinker... and since I don't have many friends that I would want to hang out with, it might be a good time to catch up on my Mario Kart game that I just bought for the Wii.
For those of you who do not own a Wii... I pity you.................. A Lot.
Aside from the fact that I am a huge Nintendo geek anyway (I still carry around a Mario Brothers wallet), it's one of the most fun systems to play. Ever.
Anyway, today at work as been much of the same. Jason comes in and pisses everyone off with his lack of managerial competence, and we spend the rest of the day recovering from the gut busting laughter that perpetually ensues. I swear, if the guy just had an teeny weeny bit of common sense, it would at least be tolerable. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a clue that we all "e-hat " him. (thats hate in pig latin for all of you who aren't bilingual). Had Taco Bell for lunch simply because it is located directly across the street from our office, and because Jennifer that works behind the counter is easy on the eyes.
I go to the doctor tomorrow to get my foot checked out. About a month ago, I rolled my ankle coming down the stairs at work and nearly broke it. I was on crutches for a while, and am just now getting off of the walking boot. Tomorrow, hopefully, I'll be cleared to start doing normal activities such as, walking, jump roping, and Ice skating. Not that I do that much anyway, it's just nice to know that I can should the need arise.
