| The longest lasting Democracy. |
Democracy
When I was in school we were told that the longest lasting Democracy
was the Greek Democracy, It lasted 200 years. I would be willing to bet
that the progress of its demise followed a similar course to ours. Here
we are pushing our so called Democracy on the rest of the world and
our's is collapsing right under our feet, after 234 years. I bet right befor
the Greek collaps of Democracy was a period of apathy and
complacency and that seems to be where we are today in the U.S.A.
Here we are setting back on our cowardly butts allowing the Politicans
to make our choices for us. if you were to look below the surface, I
think you would find that beneath the deceptive cloud of Obama Care
you will find an effort by the Government to tighten their hold on regulating
the rights of the people.
We have never been a true Democracy, we are an Aristocracy Ruled by
the Corporate consperacy and the banks. How can this be described as
freedom? A dictatorship is a dictatorship no matter the number of dictators
in the ruling clique. This is where we are today, we are in limbo waiting
for the cell doors to slam shut.
