why the hell is the senate having doubts with america?
at least the president of this country has done something, well, nice.
the title of the post says it all.
there was this capsized ship somewhere near the islands, south of where i am now.
it's already a week since that tragedy.
there were so many people trapped in there, and have died of course.
it was said that they were so afraid to jump off the ship because of the strong winds and rain - because of the storm.
this ship was permitted to travel because it was still signal number 1. (i am not really familiar with the rules regarding the storm signals. all i know is that when it's higher than 1 then it's really dangerous to get of the house, to travel, etc.) although it was safe to travel on signal number 1, the storm went on its way towards where the ship was. the coast guard is somewhere 2 kilometers away from the incident area but still didn't see it. perhaps because of the storm. well at least they have satellites and stuff to get signals from the ship. but they were useless. anyways, there were still survivors.
what i hate about the government is that they are sooooooooooo slow to operate and to get the people, the corpses i mean that were trapped inside that ship. they were like complaining about the weather. that it was still dangerous to go under the sea and stuff. that occured two days later, Sunday , June 23 the storm had passed already. The president (yes, i hate her too) announced that from then on, all ships will be not permitted to travel even if it's still signal number one. then she went to america, i don't know for what, perhaps for some negotiations but it was not necessarily to ask some help from them. well anyways, i just browsed the net and knew that she was there to have meetings with Obama and Mccain.) so Bush extended help to this forsaken country and send this USS Ronald Reagan in order to help the slooooooooow divers that were taking the corpses out of the ship. and mind you, the ship corporation, what do you call that, whatever, i'm pertaining to the owner of the capsized ship, is not doing anything. i mean, they're doing very small things, some lawyers and forensic people even helped in the operation, the relatives of those who died in the tragedy were like occupying the terminal ,sleeping there and stuff, because this damn shipping line is so irresponsible they don't even want to send those people over the incident area so that they will feel better. yeah, it's better to be there and find out immediately that this relative of yours is already dead than to wait a hundred kilometers away and hope that this relative of yours had survived or what. they keep on promising those people that they will send them there but well, promises are made to be broken. i pity those people so much. so let's go back to that vessel that USA sent. i watched the news this morning and i was really happy to know that America is so helpful. a few years ago, they also sent troops here to fight the militant group in the southern part of this country. And you know what some of the greedy senators are thinking? well some of them said that it's not the business of america to intervene with the problem of this country. with regards to the help from america, they said that this USS Ronald Reagan is a nuclear vessel and when it enters this territory of this fuckin country it would be against the constitution because it is said therein that nuclear weapons and vessels are not allowed here. and this fuckin senator also stated that we, the citizens of this country, should be the ones who should solve the problem. and this fuckin statement of him is a shit. how could he say that when he doesn't even do something in order to help in the operation there in the tragedy. this country is so fuckin poor. no, it is not really. it has plenty of resources and stuff, negotiations with other countries, exports and imports, etc. you know what, this country could survive even though it was colonized and passed onto other colonizers until it finally got its independence. but the reason why this country is poor is the government: the executive, the legislative, the judiciary branches. it simply stinks. it's full or corruption. and the elites are corrupting too. their unlimited welath is never enough. yeah, corruption is everywhere, it's also present in other countries. but then i think they should not be corrupt in a damn third world country like this. they were the very ones elected, chosen by the people to serve this country yet they are not doing anything. if they are doing something, well IT IS NOT ENOUGH. WE ARE STILL BEGGARS, WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE. USA IS HELPING US BECAUSE IT IS FOR THE SAKE OF THE PEOPLE IN THAT TRAGEDY AND FOR THIS COUNTRY TOO. okay let's say the americans didn't extend help. and the process of getting those corpses out of the ship would last for like a month. no, i'm not exaggerating, i'm not overreacting or what. this is true. everything here is slow. the only fast thing that happens here is corruption. so there could be some epidemia and stuff. the water would be contaminated, the people will get sick and perhaps die. bah. i hate how this government runs. that's why i want to get out of here. but i am not some kind of activist. i do not go out there in the streets to fight for whatever right i have. i am just here waiting for my time to get outta this place. escaping is not good. really. but sometimes it's the only way to save your life. and oh by the way, i do not find like goin there in the streets, rallying, the right way to change this government. the government does have ears, eyes and it can sense everything: crime, corruption. BUT. it doesn't mind. it ignores.
sometimes i just wish this was another state of America.
this country's heroes, if they could just see what happened to this country where they sacrificed their lives, i'm sure they would be so damn frustrated.
they didn't want this country to be like this.
free?
yeah this is an independent, democratic country.
and that gives the freedom of those creatures who burn their asses sitting in the government to do corruption, to take advantage of the trust that the people gave them.
and these are all my opinions, my reactions.
do i have a colonial mentality?
yes, thanks to the corrupt government.
God, help us. Have mercy.
