 My dissertation
 Right now, my dissertation that I have been working on since September is resembling a castle made of Lego.

Only some bastard has come along and kicked it.  There are pieces all over the place, under the sofa, some have been vacuumed and the cat has eaten a couple of pieces.

I don't know where to begin to even pick up the pieces!
