 'Unforgotten' Triggered Some Thoughts
Unforgotten wrote a post and after I read it - here's what happened...I never know whether it is giving credit - or sounding like I am trying to piggyback ride.

I love to read my friends blog posts before perusing the recent blogs section. I will admit to being a bit stalkish like that. When I first began blogging I had no idea people could or had for that matter left little messages on my wall. (the wall being that part of my profile page).  Each day I seem to learn a bit more about this place. I suppose if I were inclined I could ask someone or search the help section or FAQ section (if there be such places - LOL). For me, it has been a bit like a treasure hunt finding nooks and crannies with information, tips, clues, etc. here, there and everywhere.

I am especially fond of other bloggers who share the nifty information for the lazy folks like me who half the time are caught completely unawares of the various features of the blog.

I read a lot of posts about other posts and how some days there just isn't much going on around here. Hey, I have been found guilty of saying such words. I might just mention for those of you who may be slow like I am there are many ways around this dilemma.

One of my tricks is to read a post I like and then check out bloggers they like or have bookmarked. It is amazing how often I find a blogger who is new to me or one I could not locate again because I had not bookmarked them.

If you would like to check out some of the writers I enjoy I will leave a short list (I will not try to mention all of my favorites as you will be here for hours). I am breaking my own rule by writing out blogger names and I hate to do that because I fear I may leave someone I adore off the list. I do not like to play favorites. Also, go to the forums and check out the Scribbles contests - a great place to find the writers.

lynbarnes, circe, badlydrawnstickman, evanessence, davidsbass, funnyman57,
greunie, Brockavitch, Whitters, skip1957, sharnsgarden, Blossom, Hollowman, monicaspeaks, icemanlover1, princessglittertush, incessantramblings, etc. just to name a few. I lose track of them all.

I cannot list them all. I am not deliberately leaving anyone off - I just love too many. This is why I have the no list rule........gets crazy

(also look at a person's friends list and bookmarked posts if you need ideas of who(m) to read). Save me from trying to remember how to spell them all.

(dang it - I need to go find the names of the others - short term memory loss here) Of course in doing so, one may accuse me of bumping my own numbers! And on that thought - it should not affect our views when it comes from the author - please fix that - will you.

I also bookmark blogs / posts I want to go back and read again for whatever reason. There are many bloggers here who have backlogs of posts I have never read before, but I know they are fabulous writers so I will sneak around in their archieves for something wonderful to read. Check out the old blogs you have missed of a blogger who interests you.

and I read old blogs too.. not so often - but, if I find that person intriguing.. I'll read a random post or two from their archives as well...

Good point Lola! Thank you for mentioning it, I do that also!

What's with the cough? Are you sick?
Here let me get you some warm chicken soup.
I hear it is also good for the soul. ;)

Hugs and some love for you.

You are too sweet miss monica. You are one of the keepers. I look forward
to reading everyday.

Sometimes I just sing this little song to myself
and it kind of goes like this........
'If I only had a brain....'
