I have been terribly neglecting this blog! I am sorry about that. I just had my 35th birthday on the 24th of October and as a gift to myself. I ordered two brand new pairs of dancer shoes. My other shoes had come apart and had been put back together several times and they just weren't sturdy enough for dancing around outside. One pair is pink UV reactive so that they glow in the dark and the other are solid white colored patent leather. I tried both shoes out the day they arrived. the pink pair from Pleaser fit well, and worked out quite well. The white ones the straps are not adjustable and they are jsut a little loose. I haven't gotten around to cutting the offending straps and repairing them yet but it is on my list of things to do.
The typing job that I had recently gotten has turned a little wierd on me, through no fault of my own and my boss and I are taking a much needed break from one another's company. I have decided that during this break it would give me a huge amount of satisfaction to go back to Popes and get my old job dancing back so that when he does finally get around to calling me I can tell him that I went and took my old job back and his job is no longer needed! We started out with a good working relationship and the work was going quite well. Then his wife arrived on the scene from Idaho and all the sudden thge job has turned into something else entirely. Instead of working from his home as we had done for the first month we're working on typing a story and for the last three weeks he has had me working in a bunch of public places, like the library, Starbucks, and Denny's not to mention his tennis club and his car!
Anywho, when I got home from a big blow up with him yesterday, needless to say I needed to change my latitude so when one of my friends, who is a housepainter, came over yesterday and asked if I needed any paint to refinish my "stage" I saied sure why not. He not only gave me the paint he stuck around and started making it party colored. He left my bf out there for 10 minutes by himself and when we went outside he said that G had messed the whole thing up. After he left though I got happy with the paint and started srizszling it from my fingers and running my hands with paint toi put palm pringts all over the stage too. It looks a little wild now but I like it. I had previously just finished the boards in clear polyeurathane but I didn't like the way it looked so I wanted it painted. Now it's painted but now it needs clear poly top coat. Anyway here is one of my most recent vids on youtube. Hope you like it!
