Last month, super typhoon Ondoy visited our country leaving tragedies and sorrow everywhere. Hundreds of people lose their life, thousands of family lose their home, millions of people are affected. Flash floods and landslides hit the country. What a total chaos! No one is safe, everyone is in trouble. All of the people are praying to God.

Ondoy has left our country the following day. Everyone felt a nostalgic feeling but should we? The whole country is a mess! There are garbages everywhere, floods are still causing problems, electricity has been cut off, and hundreds of people are missing. Should we be relieved with all of these? I think not!

What is happening to our world now? Why does these things happen to us? Nature truly is giving his revenge! But do we truly deserve to be defeated by nature if we can help renew the world again?

When i was still living in our province, i have seen one of the greatest things God has given us - Nature. I learned how to climb up trees, swim at the cold rivers, and breath fresh air. Can i still do this at the city i currently live in now? I don't think so!

Everyone, this is a message not only from me - Nature should be loved, not destroyed. I'am only a teenager, but i do know how to care for what God has given us.
