Letting go has got to be the toughest thing to do, its unfair, painful, makes no sense and at the same time it makes all the sense in the world. As I strike these keys on the keyboard I see my bottle of water developing ripples on the surface and this makes me smile, for me this is more than just applied science - energy transferred from one object to another, action vs. reaction - for me this is beautiful symbolic language that reveals great secrets about our lives. I guess we are all just bottles of water on someone's desk where some author's actions can have tremendous impact on our lives and sometimes if he /she hits the keys hard enough cause our lives to take some unexpected turns.
I once believed that we truly can determine the paths of our lives and yes I still believe that we have some control over our destinies but I think that we have far less control than what we would like to believe, ultimately the result will be the same. My consolation is that we can decide how our journey is going to be, how much detail we wish to see and what we want to do with what we observe.
Our fervent fortitude to be the best and to accomplish envisioned accolades is just a struggle in vain if those accolades were not intended to be ours.
The realization that the world will never be what I anticipated it to be makes me feeble and disheartened at times. I still hope for so much more, I long for so much more.
My stance, determination and strength of mind did however - if nothing else - expose many appealing and ever so often very intricate and revealing paths and secrets to me.
Mesh unraveled is dedicated to the authors and co-authors of my life - Both the cruel and the kind of our species. Most importantly to her, the one who made me see.
