 Writing
From childhood, when I spent my days scribbling on any piece of paper I could find, I wanted to be a writer. I should be excited about the creative writing class I'm taking this coming semester in college. But I'm not. Instead, I'm filled with terror every time I think of it. What happens if I find out I have no talent? What happens if I find out that the one thing I've always wanted, the dream I've always aspired toward will remain forever elusive? Everyone says, "then you'll find a new dream" but I don't want a new dream. I want to be a writer.

It doesn't help that my teacher is one that is extremely politically correct, and opinionated--one's grade is affected by whether you agree with her.
