I'm a smoker and I'm really mad about the smoking ban that started Jan 1.
I live in the United State and I have the same right as everyone else. Since when did it become the choose of the government to tell me I can't smoke. It is my right to smoke it I chose too. If it wasn't for the smoker who would be paying the tax revenue that the government puts on smokers. The state of Illinois would be in really bad shape financially if it wasn't for the taxes on cigarettes. I wonder if anyone one else in Illinois is as mad as I am about this.
There will be alot of people out of work because of this ban I'm sure. The business like bars and restaurant are going to feel the impact. I agree everyone has rights and that does include the non smokers, but there were restaurants in my area that had no smoking, and I was find with that. I just didn't go to those restaurants, so why couldn't non smoker make the same chose.

Hey unicorn,
The biggest problem for us smokers is;
Most of the smokers are too lazy to get off their ass"s and vote!
Only thirty percent of all people vote and everybody else just bitches because now a different law has been put into effect!

Thats true. Then again voting don't always work either because you just vote one crook out and other crook in but thats a whole other subject. I just think that with the government doing this, whats next. They take one thing away and the next thing you know you can't do anything without their permisson. Well the hell happened to this being a free country?

I heard they was going to start that here too. Why are people afraid to stand up for their rights? One person doesn't make a difference. If I could get enough people to stand up and fight for our right I'm sure it would make a difference. But then again thats not going to happen.
