| Why not to emmigrate to the United Kingdom!!!

The United Kingdom does not encourage US Nationals from settling in their country because the government refuse welfare benefits to it's own people when they have married a foreign national!!!!!
Say you entered the UK on a Fiance visa....you pay $400 for the visa in the British Embassy....after 6 months you must marry your spouse and pay $1000 to stay on a leave to remain visa and another $1000 to get unlimited leave to remain after 2 years.
Should your spouse for whatever reasons can't work during this process....the government refuses to pay housing allowance and tax refunds....leaving as in my case $156 a week to support my wife, my child and myself in a 3 bedroomed house with all household bills and rent of $150 a week.
Does anyone else have anything to add??????? |
