My "BS" meter has been going off at full alert lately and I can not shut it off. I wish I had not seen and heard all the BS from the Swiss Watermelon festival in Davos. I wish I could watch a documentary or news story on television without some mention, relative or not, to global climate change or the still popular global warming. The watermelons were out in full force espousing the evils of progress and the virtues of socialism.

I want to know if anyone failed to catch the slightly veiled reference to the evils of capitalism and the goodness of communism. I will let you review the tape while I laugh about how we are quoting Martin Luther King Junior out of context while discussing the evils of one of the most natural substances on the planet, carbon dioxide. You evil arrogant planet killer, you are exhaling it right now. You are creating an injustice by your very selfish act of respiration.

The planet is in peril and Al Gore and Bono are going to save us from ourselves and all it will cost is your freedom and your hard earned money. Your national sovernty is not really necessary either is it? I mean you can give that up can't you? Please do not forget the presidential candidates worship at Al Gores watermelon alter as well. John McCain, Hillary, Obama all worship at that church of global governance, I mean climate change.

Now, Bono, everyone's favorite socialist rock star, takes things one step further and tries to pull poverty and the death of ten million children a year into the picture and attach it to global warming. He is a sly dog. I bet he conveniently left out all the aid that never makes it to these starving people, because the very governmental system that is in place. It would be hard to condemn the socialist dictators and maniacal warlords for the starving when we can blame capitalists and SUV drivers in the free world.

The Kyoto treaty is a part of this. You see it exempts these very nations, the socialist and communist dictatorships, what they refer to as the developing world and it punished the developed world which is much cleaner than the filthy "utopias" they bestow the blessings upon. The countries which could still be in the development stage because of the government and the lack of capitalism it is burdened with. I guess it is just like in the schools, we will make the advanced students slow down and keep the slow students slow and try and make us all equally stupefied in all aspects of life.

So, did you figure it out. Detroit sends evil carbon dioxide to China. The way people say things says a lot about them. Al Gore knows more pollution is released in China than in Detroit, but he chose to make Detroit evil and China an innocent victim.

Sometimes I find things funny in my own head and I know no one else will understand. I spend a lot of time alone and so I do a lot of thinking. I am sure you realize, if you read this blog much, that my thinking can get convoluted and confusing. I have apologized, before, for writing like you have been a part of the ongoing conversation within my circle of friends and acquaintances, but I feel if you read my blogs you will get up to speed quickly on the topics being discussed.
I start off with that, because if you do not know, I am a creationist, I not only shun the theory of evolution but I loathe it as the second most evil lie man has fallen for. If you can guess the first I will congratulate you. Evolution, as I speak of it, starts with the "Big Bang" and ends with Darwinism, and includes all the macroevolutionary theories and the "gap" theory. I do believe in adaptation, because I know God has designed us and all his creation to adapt to the environmental changes that occur.
I sometimes have to remind people of these things before I get into the topic of Global warming and Global climate change. I recently had this image of a slow talking caveman putting people to sleep with his cave drawings of why we need to forego the discovery of fire, because the glaciers over Kansas have recede back to Nebraska and at this rate we will see grass in Canada in another five thousand years. Okay it is only funny to me, I guess, but I see it clearly "Ugh Gore" and his inconvenient cave drawings.
I want to cover the other interesting statements made by Bono, about how he felt he was confessing to an Irish priest as he tried to impress Al Gore with how green his house is. How ridiculous is that? If you are Al Gore, you probably are trying to contain the swelling in your head that some rock star is trying to live his life better than you. Although I hear that once Al got caught being so hypocritical about his "carbon footprint" that he has made improvements to his mansion to make it more 'eco-friendly'. I felt sorry for Bono, I mean the guy just tries so hard to look like a dogooder, and I am sure his heart is in the right place, but who is he trying to impress? If you want an environmental leader who you can look up to, then talk to Ed Bagley Jr. who lives by his words. I do not agree with him, but I admire that he has strived so hard to actually do what he says. He has his solar power his almost 100 percent recycling and composting setup. He drives an electric car and I bet he has yet to fly a private jet to an oil producing country to take a big wad of money to make a speech that is the polar opposite of what he tells you and me.
Bono packs stadiums with tens of thousands of people and promotes the United Nations. The most useless organization in the world and the biggest threat to freedom and democracy, and the reason many of those ten million children starve each year. The friends of dictators and scoundrels roam the halls of the United Nations and Bono cuddles up to them and propagandizes the masses for them.
When you put on a stadium show in Brazil, do you do it acoustically? Do you charge the poor Brazilians the outrageous ticket prices you charge in the US? Do you fly there in a jet burning oil derived fuel? I wonder why you can not take a schooner and use wind power. Why not play smaller venues in the daylight and play acoustically and save the planet Bono? I wonder if you ever thought of confessing that to your buddy Al Gore.
I am through with that. I like some U2 music. I find some of it inspirational, but I guess I find the whole Bono mystique just downright unbelievable. It is sad that he can not just quietly feed the hungry and buy meds for the sick and keep his mouth shut and quit trying to destroy freedom and democracy.
Also at the Davos meeting was George Soros, the money behind Hillary. The billionaire socialist who is gleefully anticipating the collapse of the US economy and the rise of communist China as the world financial leader. The Chinese as you may or may not have heard are the ones who actually paid attention as to how Reagan defeated the Soviets and are using a similar tactic to destroy us. They have embraced just enough capitalistic ideas to defeat us financially and we are helping them, by allowing our manufacturing base to disappear and our jobs to go to China. The story of Huffy bikes is one good example if you can find it.
The idea that we are to cut back on our pollutants, which we have over the past 40 or 50 years, and slow our economy while the Chinese are allowed to put 2 new coal burning plants a year online is a good example of the way to destroy America. Why are we putting up with this crap? You realize that at least 3 of the 6 remaining presidential candidates want to ratify these treaties and that includes the top three. The idea of people gleefully becoming slave to the United Nations is so sad. The idea of billionaires embracing communism is confusing and we will cover that in part 3. (What Bill Said)
