YOU are completly in the right if what you say here is true. Is she married? Does she feel you took her brother from the family? Did you ask other memebers of the family what her issue may be? And why don't you start by giving presents...

I think it is normal to still like him. He was a big part of your life if it was 6 months especially as it was so recent. You shouldn't push yourself to completly get over him, just because you would date him doesn't mean anything, there are lots of guys you may not say no to the only difference...
