I have at time always wondered what reality is, it is honestly to me the most profound question anyone can ask, "Who am I?", "What am I?", "Do i really exist?", "Am I really here", "How is existence even possible?", these are the questions that have plagued my mind ever since i was little, and i fear for the rest of my life. These are the questions that the religions of the world tries to explain, but ultimately know one truly knows, its a mystery as old as mankind itself. I can doubt there is a god, I can doubt that everyone else has a soul or not, for all i know everything in the universe could simply be my own imagination. I can doubt that every experience Ive ever had is not even real, for all i know i could be plugged into the matrix, this could all be a prison for my mind, after all everything i experience is simply electrical patterns interpreted by my brain, the world i see, touch, smell, hear, and taste is all created for me by my brain, which is sensed through my body, But the one thing i can not doubt, is that whether this reality is real or not, or if I'm plugged into the matrix, that whatever it is, i am experiencing it, I am aware of it, I am conscious of it, and that i believe is the soul itself, our thoughts, or awareness of ourselves, the entity from within which experiences experience, that is our soul, our spirit. I believe that if you are a being which can experience then you have a spirit, you have a soul, you have a consciousness. "I think therefor I am". Whenever i think about myself, who I am, i never say my name, my name was given to me by my mother but is that who i am?, its not even a question of who I am anymore, but more of what Am I?, Am i a human being? My body is, my brain is, but what about me? what am I? All i am is thoughts, that's all my soul truly is, is the thoughts and awareness of myself, I am that I am. the funny thing about that statement, is everyone can say that, we all are who we are, when referring to our true selves, our own spirits we say "I am that I am", we are all "I", we all have that same "Iness" about us. And the thing that makes that statement even more funny, that is exactly what god said about him/herself, "I am that I am". pretty interesting if you ask me.
