So last Sat. We went to visit Trevor and I couldn't believe it, so much has changed with and about him. I felt like I was looking at someone I knew, it's hard to explain, he looked like Trevor but not really.
He has put on 25 pounds and he looks so different, healthy and happy just looked different to me. Not only has he changed physically, he has changed on the inside too. He seemed so grown up. I cant imagine what kind of changes will take place after a year.
We had a 4 hour visit and we (Tim, Ryan Trevor and I) just sat around outside and talked and talked.
Trevor is adjusting well, he maybe spent 1 minute telling us the things he didn't like but everything else was positive. He had a smile the whole time, he is very proud of himself, we are so proud of him. Even Ryan his older Brother that never has much nice to say to him kept saying "I cant believe how good you look" he must have said it 20 times.
Trevor has been doing 700 push up's a day because he's not allowed to lift weights yet, they want him healthy in his mind before they allow him to focus on his body, but his muscles have gotten so big just by doing the push-up's, Ryan was inspired, he said he is gonna do it too! We'll see :)
Trevor said he has felt like walking out a few times but he wont because if he cant stick it out how could he expect people at Stir the Soul to stick it out.
I'm so excited to see my Son for the first time in years sober and healthy. To tell you the truth I dont know how long it's been. He started smoking pot many years ago and then it escalated to the pills, but I'm not sure at what age.

Wow...TJ...I'm just sooo thrilled! I knew he could do it! I just KNEW IT! I think I'm just as excited as you right now...I want to jump up and down.. yippy!!! I'm just soo happy for him and YOU!!!
Are you opening Stirring the Soul in Tennessee? I'm confused about that if you live in Florida? Yep...me and the questions again? :)

TJ,
That is the greatest news about Trevor..God is working. I can feel it...How old is Trevor?? This Easter time will bring more joy now that you can find peace thru the storm....

Stir the Soul will be in Tennessee. We live in Fl most of the time right now but we will be spending most of our time here in Tennessee soon.
We are going to get Stir the Soul up and functional and then we will just put the proper people in order to run it full time.
Thank you for sharing this excitement with our family, it really has been such a turn around in all of our lives. Trevor has turned the whole family upside down, in a good way this time.

Hollis-the picture is too cute!
I feel God working in our favor too!
I did alot of praying last year and it is all coming together, that is really why I feel so strong about helping others with this awful problem.
If I can help make a difference to others in need I can fulfill my purpose in life.

I am just soo happy for all of you. I prayed so hard for you and your son and family. Right now I'm sitting here balling like a little baby!!! Yes, I must be nut!! Good thing I have that box of tissue sitting here thatnks to Hollis's post's. :) You should have saw her goofy little kitten picture she had on a week ago. It was hysterical, but then she had the most beautiful post, so I'm crying reading this post, and laughing looking at this kitten...all the while peeking to make sure my husband doesn't walk in and see me, he would have thought I was having a breakdown. I would have said "Hollis did it!!" Now, it's YOUR fault!
I'm just so happy right now, I can feel your joy!!!

I know what you mean about peeking to see if your Husband is watching, just like the time my Husband read your post about your Husband and he thought I wrote it, now that was funny, such progress for him to even ask me why I wrote that.

I wish I had kept up with the transformation, Im sort of reading backwards...the same way I do a magazine...I am thrilled for you and will add your family to my prayers. My brother was in rehab a few times, I know its hard on everyone. You all have such a great outlook and tremendous faith.
