| Today I am giving my son his life back

I have made a decision today that I will no longer try to live my sons life. I have given him wings and now it's time for him to fly. If he wants to continue using drugs I must no longer try to stop him. This is his life and I relize it has to be his choice. I must stop torturing myself on a daily basis worrying about how he is living his life. I wrote him a letter today and told him I will always be here for him and that I love him but I can not and will not do this to myself anymore. I have been an enabler for far too long. It's time to stop hiding from the truth. I am praying he will make the right choice.
